Steps to remove glue from lace wig

Step 1: Apply some adhesive remover on the lace attached with glue and let sit for a few minutes. This gives the adhesive remover some time to break down the glue.

Step 2: Gently rub the lace with your fingers or brush it with a toothbrush to remove the glue.

Step 3: Apply shampoo on the lace area to clean the lace until all the residue of the glue is removed, rinse the lace and let it dry. 

How to remove glue from a lace wig without the adhesive remover?

If you don’t have an adhesive remover, the rubbing alcohol can be an excellent alternative to remove the glue from your wig.

Step 1: Soak some cotton balls or swabs in the 91% rubbing alcohol. Make sure the entire cotton ball or swab is soaked with the alcohol.

Step 2: Gently wipe the glue off the lace wig with the cotton ball or swab. One time focus on one spot, when this spot is totally clean then move on to the next spot.

Step 3: When you completely remove the glue from your HD lace wig, you can use shampoo to clean the lace area if needed.

If your wig is a 13×4 lace front wig, it will take more time and effort to remove the glue from it compared with a 4×4 lace closure wig. The larger the lace size, the more time and effort it takes.
